Barbalu Bklyn

Ordered takeout from Barbalu Brooklyn and was very impressed. The Homemade Squid Ink Tonnarelli Allo Scoglio traveled well and still tasted amazing at home. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the seafood was fresh, and the flavors were rich and well balanced. Even as takeout, the quality was excellent. Will definitely order again!

Place was packed. But for not having a reservation, we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. Very cool spot, a little loud but enjoyable atmosphere with decent music. The services after sitting, was fast and the food came quickly as well. I ordered the sausage and peppers personal pizza. Pizza was good for what it was ordered and old fashion as well and that was so so. It was more sweet than I’d like and very light on the alcohol.

Johnathon our server was patient and explained all the items we were Interested in. The pizza was perfection, the lasagna was delicious and the rib Jonathan eye was super tender. So glad we chose Barbula while visiting Brooklyn

My little picky eater approved the pasta marinara. Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. Not too impressed with chicken but the sauce and the rest definitely compensated. And also the portion was pretty big so yeah good. And espresso ☕️ oh it was goooood!

Came for brunch - everything was so fresh!! Had the Penne al la bruscio and the benedict with salmon, absolutely fantastic.
