Handy little outdoor diner right on the main road. Atmosphere is what you'd expect for a roadside diner and I'm not going to ding them for that, if it's not for you can also just get it to go. It was easy to roll up and park and there are tables right at the order window. The staff was friendly and the order came out quickly. I thought the food was tasty and portions were more than adequate. If you're in the area, hungry, and don't want the typical fast food drive-thru this place can get you filled up.

BBQ Kai was in the neighborhood near our VRBO rental and we stopped in for two dinners. The mixed BBQ plate is terrific! The flavorful meats, macaroni salad and rice are amazing and provide a glimpse into authentic Hawaiian cuisine! Leave the high prices and pretentious restaurants behind and enjoy some REAL food! Your belly will be full and your mouth will be smiling!

I had the Chicken Katsu Curry and it was delicious, it was under $15

Best double cheeseburger on island and chili cheese fries. It's my favorite hole in the wall that never disappoints. It is cash only. Service is fast, food is awesome, and always great prices with huge portions. It's my go to stop on the west side.
