Best sugar cookies I ever had! If you love buttercream you are going to love these sugar cookies!! Also the staff is so nice you can’t go wrong. It’s definitely that cute Ma and Pa small town classic bakery.🩷 we also got our birthday cake there in October to celebrate my mom and I’s birthday and it did not disappoint!! Beautiful and delicious!😄

Barbour’s Bakery in Carbondale, PA is a beloved family-run spot that’s been serving up amazing treats since 1912. My grandfather, Don Brink, has always been proud of his cousin’s bakery, and for good reason. My fiance and I went on Valentines day; we got 4 things for 18.50, which is FANTASTIC. We got one entire pie, two danish, and a pumpkin roll. All of it was fantastic. The pie lasted in our fridge for a week (before we finished eating it lol!) and was tasty throughout its fridge life. The pumpkin roll was super soft and pillowy with the most velvety cream. The danish were gigantic with delicious filling. I got a cheese danish, my fiance got cherry and we split them together. The cherry filling was lovely and tasted fresh and authentic! The cheese danish was the best I've had, no complaints. this place WILL be taking my money lol!

The bakery is very small and was crowded, they had limited stock for walk in customers We did go on the Wendsday before Thanksgiving and it was very busy with people picking up pre orders. Staff was a bit overwhelmed but did well.
