Bargain Family Restaurant

I ordered here many ,many times. Only last year was when I started to realize their patty's are dry, and many come spicy. I specifically tell them to not give me spicy and they don't listen to directions.. The last time was yesterday I ordered, there was big hair on my patties and again was spicy. I will go elsewhere. Terrible service and I believe they do this on purpose...

This is what a $14 plate of oxtail looks like. Mostly bones. Came with white rice. I'm not Gordon Ramsay or anything but the food was borderline inedible. No flavor it's like eating Haitian hospital food. Save your money.

I tried giving this place a third try. I’m sorry, but as a Haitian, I am embarrassed at this restaurant. I ordered oxtail for $17 and legume for $13, never ever will I waste my money there again. I bought grio and it was good, but this oxtail is undercooked, tastes weird and only 2 plantains and $1 more for 2 plantains. Then the legume was smoked turkey. Nothing I ever watched my mom add to legume, was hard and had weird look. Ayisien pou ayisien, retounen lekol or kraze buizness la paske nou pa ka fe manje. Give up! I don’t suggest anyone to go here. I really don’t. Save money and go to Miami where there’s better restaurants. This ain’t it. Zero stars all across. Department of Health needs to investigate this store.

I'll update this review as I keep trying this place, but so far, 4 stars from me. I ordered through Grubhub and got the Griot meal. The rice and bean sauce was pretty good, and the meat was crispy outside and tender inside. It could use more flavor, but the gravy and pikliz more than made up for it. The reviews here are bad, but my order of Griot was good. Time will tell if they're consistent, and I'll check out other dishes.

The worst haitian food ever the rice is always dry griot is always hard.FOOD IS NEVER FRESH!!!! I always try to give them a second chance and they always fail me 😡😡😡
