Barlow's Country Kitchen

Fried chicken was obviously reheated. So hard and dry. My first time there, won't be back.

This was my very first time eating here. I must say all of the food was absolutely great!! I was blown away by how amazing everything was!! The blueberry pancake, home fries and bacon was absolutely awesome!! Will most definitely be coming back!! Highly recommend for anybody that has never been there to go and try it!! You will not be disappointed.

Hands down. If you want a good and cheap breakfast then Barlows is the way to go. You also can't go wrong with their specials either. My mom and I used to go there for years till she passed away. I had to eventually move out north and haven't been there in years. My fiance want such a experience of small town kitchen/diner. We made the hour trip down telling her how I loved this place and that it was bit out of way but worth it. Sadly. We didn't quite get that experience. She order the hungry man meal, which granted it's a beast of a breakfast. I ordered the special and both meals were good. But our waitress seem to think we were up to something and judged us as not genuine customers. Yes we are not regulars and forgot they only take cash and checks. From the time we ordered our food it took 50 minutes to get it! A table of 7 sat AFTER we had already ordered and got their food before us. Never again.

I'm not from the area,First time in. Service was great. Food was prompt and hot. Had biscuits and gravy. Reminded me of my own home cooking. Will go back again.
