Barnaby's South Bend

I like Barnaby's when they get the order correct. My parents came in to town to babysit for us so I could go out with my wife alone (which we haven't done in 10 months), and I wanted to make sure they got some good food, so I physically walked into Barnaby's on my way out-of-town and told them I wanted to place a delivery order for my parents. I was told that I needed to do it online. Fine, I get it, but I emphasized to them that my dad has a serious diet restriction in that he can't have cheese. I was told that it wouldn't be a problem - the roast beef doesn't normally come with cheese anyway unless you add it for an extra charge. They assured me that it wouldn't come with cheese, but to add a note to the order to just highlight this important point, too. So, I made the online order, and,

Excellent pizza 🍕 cold beer and decent pricing..... Being from Chicago I know pizza and used to frequent the Barnaby's in Des plaines regularly. Unfortunately I believe that one has closed its doors.... Such a shame. I'm from Southwest Michigan now and every time I'm in South bend I will definitely stop in for a pizza. Super friendly staff. Clean atmosphere thank you for the delicious pizza and cold beer.

Well should have been more cautious since the customer in front of me had their order made wrong I should’ve looked at mine before I left. When I got home I found that two of my pizza were made wrong. How hard is it to make a pepperoni pizza but nevertheless, somehow they put green peppers on my pepperonis overall taste was not that bad for the pizza that I got correct definitely not South Bend’s best.

Quick service, helpful staff, fair price and good pizza. Had to take part of their smallest pizza home as too much to eat in one sitting. Even helped a guy with a Purdue Boiler hat in Irish country.

We ordered in the middle of a snow storm…my daughter was not able to get to Barnaby’s in a timely manner. The staff was so kind they waited for her to arrive (even though they were closed due to weather) and when my daughter headed home Spencer called to let me know, she was headed home. Thank you so much!! And the pizza NEVER disappoints! This time was no exception! 🫶
