Barnes & Noble Cafe

My daughter was here earlier today around 1pm. She asked for a drink but asked if vanilla syrup could be added instead of caramel and the employee, in a very rude tone said " you can't just customize your own drinks here " she was on her cell phone and acted very annoyed by my daughters order. This is the second time we've experienced such rude and horrible service and thought it's about time I left a review.

Nice interior… can’t say the same for the staff. The lady at the register with glasses was disrespectful. While I was trying to give her my order she kept talking over me when I was trying to order because she was laughing with her coworker for minutes straight, not paying attention to me even though she approached us for our order beforehand. She didn’t even make eye contact with us once because she was turned around not even facing us the whole time. They were out of a lot of the drink flavors. Also gave me the wrong size drink because she wasn’t paying attention to my order since she was too busy doing absolutely nothing. As someone who has been a cashier in the food industry, you should always be respectful to the customers. It’s not that hard!! it’s basic decency

The young girl who served us was very unfriendly and gave my son a bad cake pop. It tasted rotten and we had to throw it away. Poor customer service and very disappointed that my son had to eat bad food.

Jess in cafe is an absolute GEM! I loved her vibe & she has definitely gained a new regular for sure! I wanted to try something new & her recommendations were the turkey sandwich & tomato caprese.. They both were amazing!

Food and drink were fantastic! Employees were very nice and helpful with helping me make a decision. Was not a fan of Katie the manager on duty in the Starbucks, she was very snippy and had an attitude with her associates when they didn’t appear to be doing anything wrong. Would’ve been a 5 had I not seen such a display
