Dining at Barrio in Asbury Park recently was a great experienced as it was referred to by a friend. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food presented by the staff! The tacos were amazing and so was the steak dish! Highly recommend a visit if you are able! They will see us again!

Stumbled upon this place with my brother. Service is Amazing! Great all around vibe. My brother randomly asked if they had mozzarella sticks which they didn’t being that this is a taco spot which makes this request a bit comical. Next thing we knew chef whipped us up some mozzarella sticks on the house! Thats what I call amazing hospitality! Made us feel very special as first timers so shout out to all the bartenders that night and chef and cooks in the kitchen! You guys truly made our night that much better! Never change!

Absolutely delicious upscale Mexican food! Not only was all of the food great, but everything was gluten free which is a huge bonus! I was visiting Asbury Park to celebrate my best friend’s engagement and our party of 10 got our own quiet, private section where all the staff, especially our waiter Mel, were so sweet, attentive, and personable. Definitely check this place out!

THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR EATING. If you want a drink that is different and innovative, this is the bar. Liz was such a sweetheart, very kind and attentive. She was knowledgeable about the menu, honestly the only reason I didn’t leave immediately. This was nastiest food I have ever had the displeasure of paying for. If you grew up eating actual Mexican food, you will not enjoy the food here because it isn’t even food. Either the owners intentionally gave my party disgusting food or every other reviewer is lying. I grew up eating food from many different cultures within Latin America, none of it is nasty and inedible. I work so hard for the pennies I make and I truly feel like my money and my taste buds were wasted
