Stopped in for an ice cream cake Sunday afternoon, Elise was so helpful showing me the different options and taking them out of the freezer for me, and even offered to write on the cake for me even though it was quite small. She went above and beyond to help us and make sure I got the cake I wanted. So sweet & made it an awesome experience!

We’ve been coming here for about 20 years. My husband probably about 30+ years and we’ve always enjoyed ourselves. Ice cream is good. It’s been a great experience but lately the staff behind the counter seem distracted on their phones, one girl was eating sushi behind the counter. No one greeted us when we came in. After everything we ordered they asked if that was IT. Maybe they had something to do and it seemed like they were trying to get us out of there quickly. It was 2 hours before close. Not to mention the portion sizes have gotten very small. I would hate for this GREAT Bayside institution to lose business because of staff issues.

This use to be the place I always get my ice cream. I went there yesterday and got a milk shake. Not even 30 mins after finishing I it started getting severe diarrhea. Had to go to the bathroom every 20 mins for 5/6 hours. Today I woke up nauseous still having to go to the bathroom. Got e.coil from it. Really bad bacteria. I’ve never experienced this before. I don’t know if it was due to unclean utensils or bad milk they used; either way I won’t be getting anything from there anymore.

Sooo many flavors to choose from. And now they carry two dairy free yummy flavors! Can't go wrong at BR31. Good people work there too!

I was greeted and served right away, despite there being several customers in the store, so my compliments to management for having staffed the store adequately. The young man who packed my pint of Gold Medal Ribbon also weighed the container, I presume in order to ensure the proper amount was provided, which I appreciate. He was a bit messy with it, though, as he tried to check me out for the purchase with globs of ice cream sticking to the outside of the carton. He did wipe it promptly when I requested him to do so, and offered to bag my purchase, as well. Overall, not a bad experience in a fairly busy small store with limited seating.
