Bay Breeze Seafood

Family style Restaurant for all ages. Food was average. I had the Broiled stuffed Flounder and stuffing was ok even with green pepper diced into it. Salad was iceberg ( lots of heart pieces) w/ tomatoes, onion and shredded cheese.

My negative review isn't for the food. My meal was a solid 10 out of 10. My complaint is with the lousy service I got tonight from my server. First, I told her I wanted tea with lemon. She brings me tea but no lemon. Second, after she brings me my food, she never gave me my coleslaw or butter. When she brought both, she kinda slammed it down in a plate and said here you go. I literally had to ask for both. My understanding, coleslaw comes with the meal. Third, she never refilled my tea the whole time. She walked back and fourth waiting on other people but never refilled my drink. I didn't think I had to ask for a refill. And then when she handed me my check, I told her I had a to-go order to place, and it was separate checks, she handed me back the balled up check for my order. I've eaten

When we got there, we were seated immediately in a nice cozy booth. Waitress came and took our drink and appetizer order. Drink and appetizers came quickly. The waitress answered all of our questions about the different combos. When our food came out it was piled high, I immediately took pictures to show off the hefty portions. My husband had ordered flounder and had a mouth full of bones, he requested to change that to catfish and it was brought out with no hesitation. We had so much food the to go box was full as well. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly, they have a repeat customer in me.

Food was alright, it has been better the last few times I came. The staff was awesome as always, I had a enthusiastic young man who was on top of his area without hovering. The scallops were a bit soggy and breading was slufing off, but again last 3 times I have been here it was good, put it off to a flook.

Words can't explain what a great experience I had at this restaurant! Our waitress Johanna was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. Now let's talk about the food. Absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. The portion size for the money was unbelievable. Everyone had enough food to take home for another meal. You definitely get your money's worth here. Whenever I'm in Sanford North Carolina Bay Breeze Seafood is definitely a must visit! We definitely need one in Virginia.
