Bayley's Seafood Restaurant

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner and drinks here! The bartender was so witty and friendly!!!! My friend had the chowda! I had fried clams and shrimp platter. Everything was fresh and delicious! We will 200% be back!!!!

We've been vacationing in Maine for years and had never been to Bayley's. We are so happy that we went this past Friday. The food was excellent! Service was also wonderful with the most cheerful woman taking orders at the counter. There is also a dining room / bar upstairs that we did not see but several guests chose to eat upstairs and several came down also while we ate our meal. We will DEFINITELY choose them for out seafood fix on our next visit! Highly recommended.

DO NOT GET THE FRIED SHRIMP! How this owner justifies charging TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS a plate for what looked like teeny tiny canned shrimp I will never know. We could not tell which were shrimp and which were tiny batter balls. Also no clam roll on the menu? I been going there 30 years fir that clamroll. We noticed they were closed last year and we were pleasently surprised to see them back open. The bartender and drinks saved the day! We will be back for the bartender and that raspberry cosmo! 😋

Ive been to this location twice now and I usually give a joint 2x before I leave a review. The first time was about a month ago and the food was fine. Typical fare. My wife and I went this past weekend and the food Fisherman's Platter was far over cooked leaving the clams and scallops very chewy. I won't say its not worth it to go here as they have been around a long time I guess for me it was just a good experience.

Best fried clams and clam cakes in Maine! My meal was cooked to perfection - crisp on the outside and tender inside. No greasy taste either. Staff is very friendly and accommodating to its customers. Finally, the restaurant sparkles with cleanliness.
