BBQ Blessings

Honestly, I'd consider this the best BBQ place in the area. Yes, I've never been to the south or had BBQ in places known for this type of food, but I do think they have quality meals here at reasonable prices (which is on the expensive side, but you get the meat that you pay for). Customer service here is top notch. I had the same waitress both visits and she is a sweetheart, bringing us anything we need and always checking up on us. I've tried the pulled pork and the brisket, both of which were good. They give thick cuts, so I didn't feel ripped off at all (as I have at other places). I'm a huge fan of the baked macaroni and cheese, which seems to be a hit-or-miss in the other reviews. Personally I thought it had a very addictive flavor both times I went. Update- stop by the restaurant for lunch today and they are permanently closed. Spoke to the new owner and he's planning on opening a brew pub at that location. Down home excellent southern style barbecue. The collard greens were amazing! Had the pull pork Meal which came with two sides and cornbread. Our server was kind and polite and took good care of us. Love the atmosphere nothing fancy but just kind of chill. Several menus selections such as tacos pizza and nachos as well. Will definitely be going back. Great value for the money today. Watch for coupons in the Columbian we save five bucks on our lunch.

We were 100% satisfied after BBQ Blessings catered lunch for Labor Day at our company. The owner even delivered and setup for us-the food was AMAZING!! If we weren't in a recession and dealing with high inflation, we would have definitely had them cater again! Hopefully government can get costs & taxes under control so we can call you back. I came from out of town and I plugged in barbecue. And I decided on this place and I'm so glad I did when I arrive the parking lot was so full of cars which is such a good sign that you find a parking spot. When I went in it was going to be a little bit of a wait is because they were kind of short-handed which it's okay because this is the family ran business. Whats a the barbecue place with pizza and they serve beer and I came here for the barbecue of course. The menu there's isnt a lot on the menu but that's okay you don't need a lot on a menu to be a very good place. I ordered a half rack of ribs because I thought maybe I could eat them all and she had suggested why don't you order three and I'm like no I want the half rack and I'll order some sides with it. I hardly ever leave bad reviews. I was so excited to try this place, but I won't be going back. Nice atmosphere, our server (Vicky I think) was awesome considering she didn't have enough help. But the food was terrible. I ordered the rib plate and honestly it never should have left the kitchen. It was charcoal, no meat was left on those bones. I did point it out and got pulled pork instead, but I was still charged for the ribs. I feel like they need to get more servers and slow down what's happening in the kitchen. The pizza crust was a tad undercooked, but it was still good pizza. All the sides were just Meh .... The ones I had were baked beans, collard greens, corn bread, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese. (There were 7 of us, so we had A LOT of food).
