really disappointed in the quality of food. no decent quality of asian food in albany. ordered a set of 16 wings and got 2 drumsticks and the rest were all mixed chicken carcass. makes it very difficult to eat with all the small bones. must be change in ownership trying to save a few bucks it’s sad please bring back the old quality. you literally can just see all the rib cages
I ordered a whole chicken through Uber eats(16 pieces) , piece already looks small enough and then there is really not ANY meat on the bone( a lot of bones) So it’s pretty much just Bone + a layer of fried flour + sweet sauce( greasy sweet sauce )? ? I would not order again, regret I didn’t just get fry chicken from Popeyes. Had it a few years ago I thought it was good but not anymore. This bone + fried flour thing is just unbelievable
Second time having bb.q, first time having the secret sauce. It was really good, unique. It had a cinammon/bbq taste to it. I love the chewy texture of the Ddeok-Bokki, the flavor of the rose is delicious. This time I got cheese and it was even better. The fish cakes in it were good. I was only disappointed with the selection of chicken. The first time was perfect, so this time I got the half & half whole chicken. Unfortunately I was given many small pieces, and a few flattened bone pieces that had no meat but all batter. For the money spent, I would have expected better chicken.
Incredibly delicious. This is the best fried chicken I've had in the capital region. We tried the mala ddeok bokki, buldak bowl, and galbi sauce whole chicken. Everything was delicious and the chicken was incredibly moist, even the white meat. The batter was perfectly crispy and the sauce just right. I would love to have more pickled side options like kimchi because the pickled radishes went beautifully with the different sweet, savory, and spicy options. We will definitely be returning.
Tried this after hearing about how amazing Korean friend chicken is and was not disappointed! We did an 8-piece of the whole chicken with galbi sauce, mala ddoek-bokki, and chicken and rice cake bowl. Everything was delicious! Trust the descriptions - the mala ddoek-bokki said "spicy" and it was! The chicken was the star though - incredibly tender, a variety of different pieces, not too heavily breaded, and the galbi sauce was delicious. Definitely my new go-to for fried chicken.
