Beach Access 40

While waiting for check in at hotel, we took a stroll on the beach. I love that Amelia Island has many (at least 40) places to park for free and access to beach. And the number is visible on beach so you know where you parked in case you forget. When walking on the beach, I really don't have to worry on which exit is the one we parked at; instead, I can just relax and enjoy the view.

Stars were bright and beautiful last night. clear sky, calm breeze and water. Felt hopeful again ♥️

Please remember to keep your dogs on a leash and under your control while at the beach. Or better yet just leave them at home!! When that happens, it's a nice beach with a small parking lot, keeping the crowds to a minimum.

I love that this beach isn't crowded and has a convenient and shoet access point from where we are. The beach itself is wide and miles long with a path/strand of shells (see browner section below on photo). The water is a bit rough for kids and with the breaking waves it is a bit brown, probably a lot of sand is mixed in, and so it doesn't look as inviting, therefore 4 stars. The only shade is under a private deck.

The beaches at Amelia Island are ever changing. We were watching Saturn from beach Access 40. Very nice.
