Beach Access 9

Perfect Little walkout area. I like it at night when my poor little disabled doggie with the two compound fractured legs that healed differently abled movements can jump around and have fun on the beach without other dogs passing judgement on her walk and special needs. She gives it five paws up ❤️❤️❤️

I did not enjoy the sea. It was rough. Lots of waves and currents. I need to go again and rate it again. The scenery was beautiful and interesting. I parked up in a street. It was a Sunday and the area was full of people. Parking was a hazard.

Picturesque and uncrowded, this beach is a perfect blend of small and gently breaking waves, breeze, and sunshine. Shells everywhere and even a wedding taking place on the sand. Absolutely perfect place to spend the day!

We love Amelia Island! This is a great access to use to get on the beach. Parking is convenient and it’s a short walk to the waters edge. Depending on the time of year and the tides, we have found everything from large well shells, sand dollars, sharks teeth, starfish, all different size shells, ghost crabs, and pretty much any variety of beach birds that you might want to see. Dolphins can often be seen swimming in schools near the shoreline. This is also a great place to search for sharks teeth when they are dredging and adding new sand to the shoreline from the ocean floor. The potential to find shark teeth fossils from extinct ocean animals increases every time they dredge the bottom. You never know what you might find! It’s a never ending treasure hunt!
