Customer Reviews
We had looked forward to trying this place since moving here last year. Sadly, it will be a first and last for us. The experience was a bit frustrating after being told that several of their listed on menu items, “I can’t make that”. I understand restaurants run out of things but I, like most patrons would expect if it’s listed on the menu, you have it. Both items I personally ordered I was told that, only to be told after a few mins each time, they could do it. Both items were simple items that required simple ingredients so that’s why I was confused initially. I ordered Nachos and cheese, while I did receive such nachos and cheese after being told they were out of cheese, somehow there was cheese? I almost ordered the nachos deluxe but not sure how many potential other ingredients migh
Such a cute and awesome little place! The service was pretty good. Food took awhile to get out but that’s how you know it’s quality food (trust me, it was). The icecream was fantastic and rich. I complimented one of the rubber ducks they had on display and the lady working gave it to me, saying I could have it. Awesome place, totally recommend!
We were not greeted when we walked in despite being the only ones there. The staff just watched us look around for the options and pricing and asked us what we wanted. The price and options for ice cream was printed on a piece of paper taped to the side of the cooler, not on the wall like everything else. My daughter ordered an Oreo dipped waffle cone. It was all cracked and soft and old tasting. My regular waffle cone was fine, the ice cream was good.
Super small portion sizes compared to other ice cream shops in the region. A medium soft serve ice cream ($5) looked like a toddler size portion and a small chocolate shake ($5) was in a tiny styrofoam cup. Not anything special to justify the small portions sizes for the price. Would rather drive to 20 miles farther for better ice cream, more reasonable portion sizes and prices. Don’t waste your time or money!
We were excited to stop and get a treat. They were super helpful. Atmosphere was ok but nothing keeping me there or enhancing my experience. I wanted a chocolate malt. I got a cup smaller than a child size cup for $6 and change. It was horrible, grainy and no malt flavor and didn't even fill the cup. My granddaughter got one scoop of blue moon on a cone. She like the flavor and the portion was large. Which is good since one scoop is $5.09. She did say it had a grainy consistency and a taste she couldnt place, I tasted it and the taste was a freezer taste. So for a bill of $12 we will skip the treat next time or try another place.
