Best spot around here! im from nj, and this chicken is a 9/10. Service was awesome and since it was cash only and I didn't have enough for the food and drinks, the man even blessed us up by covering the drinks!! Please stop by and give this place your business. we dont need anymore popeyes or Krispy chicken we need this.

Hands down the BEST fried chicken wings in the City of Reading, Pa & has been for more than 30 years. I wasn’t born in this City, but I’ve been eating these wings for more than 30 years strong. Many years ago, he used to have more tasty items for sale, but over the years has reduced it to what customers really want/need which is Soul Food. Headlined by the best fried chicken wings the City of Reading has to offer. Before I begin I must tell you that I am only here to review their wings & fries, delivery through DoorDash has only been available for a a month or so. Prior to this, it’s ALWAYS been pickup. The fries are the basic straight cut fry. They weren’t over or under cooked and matched up well with the wings. The added roll is a black thing. I am black so please don’t think that was a

Stopped and grabbed 50 wings, fries, mac & cheese, macaroni salad and potato salad. Mac & cheese was ok but everything else was fantastic. We were in town visiting and my wife recommended we come to Beckett’s and get some chicken and she said it’s just as good as she remembered! Excellent

I was in the area and due to my son’s high recommendation I made a point to stop in and get some to go. What a treat! Super friendly staff (owner), the chicken had a crispy, delicious crust, & all the sides were great (Mac & cheese, greens & sweet potatoes). Chicken was cooked to order and after an hour ride was still warm and crunchy. 100% worth the trip.

I’ve been to Beckett’s a few times over the years, and while the food itself is good, the prices have become outrageous. On my recent visit, I ordered a plate with wings, greens, and baked mac & cheese, and my total came out to $28. To make matters worse, paying with a card meant additional fees were added on top of that. When I first came here about two years ago, the exact same plate was around $17. I understand prices go up, but nearly doubling the cost in such a short time plus tacking on extra charges for card payments feels unreasonable. The food has flavor, but the pricing and fees make it hard to justify coming back.
