Having grown up in Baltimore, I have a strong familiarity with—and appreciation for—traditional Baltimore-style pit beef, which naturally informs this review. I consider Chaps to be the gold standard, earning a 5/5 for its moist cut of beef, depth of flavor, and soft, pillowy potato buns. Their sandwich is so well-executed that condiments are unnecessary. In comparison, the beef here was noticeably drier, even though it was cooked to an appropriate medium-rare temperature, and it lacked the robust flavor I expect from a pit beef sandwich. The dominant flavors were the roll, mayonnaise, and an intense smoky note that was somewhat overpowering. This is a large pit beef sandwich. It was sliced thin and it was tender and smokey. I also had the boardwalk fries. I will be back, it was awesome.

My first time here! I couldn't decide so I ordered their sampler. It was well worth the price!. I will definitely come back! I love the collard greens.! The fries are good too. Looking forward to trying The macaroni and cheese next time. I did request things on the side. I should have double-checked on that, not a big deal since I was taking it home . They deserve a high review they certainly seem to put pride and effort into their work!

Amazing pit beef sandwich they load it up and use great beef always tender every now and than you mite get a sandwich not as good. They got amazing BBQ chicken plater 12.99 you get half smoked chicken and 2 sides chicken falls off the bone
