Bella Italia Restaurant

Pretty okay place. Dining area feels artificial with cold lighting and a view of a parking lot, plus the ambient music comes with generic advertisements, which detracted from the experience. Our waitress was polite and kind to us, seating us immediately. The food was okay and made my stomach happy.

Wife and I got the $53 “chefs surprise” each and we left disappointed. The appetizer was grocery store charcuterie, the protein (chicken and fish) was mediocre at best. The ravioli we got was decent. Overall we left disappointed. Perhaps we should have just picked the items ourselves.

I won't be back. And it's all in the service the waitress and server where generally rude so I felt very unwelcome here no smile no nothing didn't even check on us, they shoved us in a corner and forgot about us. Food took forever I got the spaghetti and meatballs and wasn't good I felt the noodles where not cooked thoroughly and the sauce was runny. The prices didn't match what was served. So after all this we just won't be back better off making my own spaghetti at home.

Now,THAT'S Cioppino!Who puts a WHOLE lobster tail in?! They do! The All meat Cannolini was fantastic! The sauces are Fresh! Best home cooking Italian style! Love these small places. Soup was outstanding! The House salad was simple yet delicious and refreshing with the lemon and olive oil! The atmosphere could use some warmth, very bright inside,but don't let that stop you. Italian music playing was pleasant. Desserts were superb!

Last night I visited Bella Italia and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Their menu is extensive and for my entree I chose their manicotti. It is stuffed with ricotta and spinach and served with a generous topping of cream sauce. I also selected their insalata della casa (house salad) which was light and tasty and perfectly seasoned with their own homemade oil and lemon dressing. The salad was embellished with nice wedges of mozzarella crowned with a slice of ham. I asked Chef Jose for a wine suggestion and he picked Monteverro di Vermentino, a delicious white from the vineyards of Tuscany. It was a perfect match.
