Belly of the Whale 2

I ordered 2 shrimp boy po combos. I asked if they put plenty of shrimp on them. She said yes they do. Got home and there were literally 7 popcorn shrimp on each one. On a big bun. So if you want a bun with lettuce and tomato and mayonnaise that’s what you’re getting. Then you get a bite of a tiny shrimp. And it came with fries. $12.99.each. No drink. EVERYWHERE we’ve ever ordered these they fill the bun with shrimp. Should have went to Wards. Wish I would have taken a photo of what the inside filling of the bun looked like. Maybe everything else is decent but we’ll never find out. Cuz we won’t be back.

I ordered a ham melt. I got 3 small pieces of processed ham on 2 pieces of texas toast. No cheese, no butter, nothing else. It was horrible. The onion rings were good, but the only gave me 5 small rings. I do not recommend this eatery.

This place a JOKE fr !! There’s nothing but a bunch of kids in there playing. Look like they dipped my fries and onion rings in the grease for a hot 10 seconds and took em right out cause they wasn’t done. I also ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla but received a whole chicken strip instead of grilled chicken

I get this is a new restaurant but, you don't get what you pay for. My wife ordered a ham melt basket. The sandwich was 2 pieces of Texas toast, small pieces of ham, and no cheese. They only gave her 5 onion rings. My burger was ok, but I also only received 5 onion rings. This was not worth $28.00.

Belly of the Whale 2 is located in the old Ward's location which had most recently been Cool Dip. As a brand new place I probably should have waited longer for it to have a break in period before visiting it. My mom and I both got burgers which neither of us were very happy with as they simply tasted bad. My burger meat seemed VERY well done as the outside was burned. Mama wasn't at all happy they charged her for tap water and she also didn't like the flavor of her burger (which I would say was a burned flavor). Hopefully this place gets into their groove and improves substantially. Honestly the fried chicken at the local gas stations is far better tasting than what we ate here.
