Exceptional stay – unique, welcoming, and truly memorable Our stay at Ben Conger Inn was outstanding and truly unique. The room was immaculately clean and instantly gave the feeling of staying in a real American-style home, warm, comfortable, and full of character rather than a typical hotel experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with incredible warmth, and the level of care throughout the stay was exceptional. Everything was arranged smoothly and thoughtfully, with easy access to the rooms and great attention to detail to ensure comfort and convenience at all times. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, and generously prepared — and the Cinnabon was simply the best we’ve ever had, a highlight we still talk about. It added a special, personal touch that made the mornings

My husband and I had a weekend getaway and stayed at the inn while hiking in the area. The inn exceeded our expectations. The Inn was clean, comfortable, and full of interesting paintings and history. We had a well-appointed room, a very comfy bed, with a private balcony where we enjoyed a glass of wine in the late afternoon and a game of scrabble. Shelley, the host was amazing! Warm, helpful and prompt with any questions we had. An excellent breakfast in a gorgeous dining room sealed the deal! We will be back!

We stay here whenever we come back to the area. I’m so happy that this is back in the Claire family after reading about their history growing up in the home. Drew and Shelley, are lovely and always take great care of us, making us feel right at home. The home is beautifully decorated, and well taken care of. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the suites offer plenty of room for our family. The breakfasts are wonderful with a hot made to order menu. We always look forward to our stays here.

The setting and the rooms are delightful. It’s the perfect spot for peace and quiet and relaxation The main house has a lovely dining area and the breakfast is delightful. This house is very elegant with an amazing art collection. It’s like stepping back in time I look forward to returning for another relaxing stay

If you're in the Groton/Ithaca area, there's no better choice than the Benn Conger. The room was absolutely incredible with all the amenities you could think of. Breakfast was delicious as well. More than anything, the service was superb with the host being incredibly accommodating and welcoming. I highly recommend it, and the price can't be beat.
