Benny Hudson Seafood

The seafood at Benny Hudson is the best. It never disappoints and is always fresh! Today I purchase the sword fish and prepared it over a bed of spinach with a lemon/basil sauce. It was amazing! Update: Tonight’s culinary feast was New Orleans BBQ shrimp over South Carolina stone ground grits. The shrimp are always so fresh and sweet. Was a perfect meal for a cold day.

If you want fresh seafood for a reasonable price, this is the spot. The store has changed a lot (new building) since we last visited, but the same friendly service is still there. There is a huge variety of seafood available here, from local shrimp and fish to Maine lobster and whole octopus and everything in between. Personally I like the old spot better, but you have to adapt!

They have local catch. You can tell from the smell. No stinky fishy smell. Amazing service. The person who assisted us was very helpful. Even advised us on portions and spices, and we got few free gifts to try. Definitely going back.

Tried for the first time today for lunch, we ate outside among the breeze, phenomenal view and atmosphere. The food and drinks were amazing. The service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it!

Gave our first visit with rough food and poor service a pass as it was within their first month. Tonight was one of the worst dinners I've ever had. Steak, chewy, no seasoning. Carrots raw, no seasoning. Demi bland. Scallops over cooked no seasoning. Chimichurii was saw dust and off putting. Farro dry and bland. Just an awful experience.
