Ordered a few times for delivery and pickup. Delivery is great, always on time and if not, always before expected. Personal favorite pizzas I'd recommend are the Potato Pie, Grandma Pizza, and the Chicken Caesar Pizza. All are delicious and these impressed my friends and I very much, sauce is very flavorful, and the crust is cooked just right, not too crispy but also not too floppy. Last time I was there I picked up an Avocado Chicken Panini, and a J Blue Panini, which were both very delicious. I'm a big fan of the Blueberry sauce on the J blue, it surprised me! The pizza is absolutely horrible! The crust is thin to the point where you can't even hold it. Time for a new Chef because the one making the food can't make a pizza! I was better off getting Red Barons frozen pizza.

I needed to leave a review for the past few times I've eaten here because of how great this place is! I've been trying to find a great local pizzeria and restaurant in town, and I'm sure I found my favorite spot. I usually call to pickup salads, paninis, and wraps whenever my sister and I go to the beach, and they've always been ready on time! The salads here are great, with lots of choices and unique blends! My sister and I had a Cobb Salad and Antipasto Salad, which were both really good! Chicken on the Cobb Salad was tender and not dry which was really good, and my sisters Antipasto salad was really good too! I've been to Benny J's several times now and it's definitely become one of my go-to spots in Branford. The food has consistently been flavorful, hot, and fresh; they have definitely made some big progress! Wide variety of salads, pizzas, subs and pastas. Out of the numerous restaurants I've been to throughout the shoreline, I've got to give it to Benny J's with their pastas, salads, and pizzas. Specifically, I'd recommend the Penne alla Vodka, Fettuccini Primavera, Ravioli, and both Eggplant Parm and Chicken Parm dinners. I loved the Greek Mango salad and Summer California Salad as well. Delivery is quick too, food arrived hot and in a timely manner. Staff are friendly, kind, and respectful!
