The food and service was quite good, food came quickly. And would recommend without reservation. The bread appetizer was good, but comes cold (fyi). The con carne came with a lot of meat, 4 large pieces of slow cooked meat, and about another two broken up in the noodles and sauce. It was a rich dish. We were there on a weekend post holiday and they were busy....we were seated reasonably quickly (20min), would recommend reservations. Didn't have wine, but they had a rather large list of Italian wines.

We stumbled on this place while wandering Eugene one Thursday night. The place itself is super cool and looks to have been an old converted house. The staff were very nice and we were greeted and taken to a table right away. The food was so so so good and tasty. We will definitely return when we are back down to Visit.

Beppe and Gianni’s feels like a victim of local overhype. The location is nice and parking can be a challenge, but that didn’t affect my experience nearly as much as the actual dinner. We went as a group of eight last weekend, and since they don’t take reservations, we waited outside in the freezing cold for almost an hour. The host stand seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. They also have a back patio that could be a great waiting area if it had heaters and bar service, but it was closed for the winter. I was surprised this restaurant was so disappointing given how much it was talked up to us! The food was only ok and the service was incredibly slow. We never got a second round of drinks, we just packed it in and went somewhere else.
