Yum! What a great addition to East Village. Their food is fresh and delicious. They have ample seating, great atmosphere and all of the serving staff was personable and helpful. The sake list is fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend!!
I was so excited to eat here after hearing all the great things, and it absolutely did not disappoint! While other ramen spots might be fancier, this one delivers on generous portions and incredible flavor. I absolutely loved the **Tonkatsu** and the **pork chashu**—both were delicious. We also tried the desserts, and the **Japanese pudding** was super tasty, and the **Monaka ice cream** was a delicious finish. Highly recommend!
One of the best ramen spots in the East Village! The restaurant is easy to get to and serves incredibly delicious food. The menu offers a great variety beyond just ramen — the karaage and sushi Nagoya are personal favorites. The staff is attentive, friendly, and brings a fun vibe to the experience. Perfect for a casual hangout with friends or even a cozy date night.
We had an amazing experience at BESHOCK Ramen East! The ramen was flavorful and perfectly cooked, with fresh ingredients that really hit the spot. The atmosphere is stylish and inviting, blending Japanese vibes with a Cali twist. Our waiter was absolutely class—super friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations on the sake menu without being pushy. And surprisingly, the restroom was spotless and well-maintained, nothing like the dingy ones you find at other spots—definitely a pleasant surprise! Highly recommend for a top-notch meal. 5 stars all the way!
I got nausea and diarrhea from the oysters unfortunately. Everything started off great, the cocktail I ordered was delish, the bluefin sashimi tasted super fresh and the dirty fries were generous with chashu. I had a dozen of the oysters and could only finish seven because they were massive. I have never had a good experience with large oysters like these, I stick to a certain size for quality. It’s like when you buy the big chicken breast from a supermarket, it’s always off and not the best you can get. It was definitely the seventh oyster that messed me up, I knew it right after I tasted the murky white slime and saw the residue on the shell. I knew I was going to get sick. Two hours later, everything I had came up and my poor bowels are going through it. Everything else was solid though
