Bethesda Bagels

Bethesda Bagels is one of the rare places these days that still feels like a true, classic bagel shop. They make their own cream cheese, the bagels are generously sized, and every ingredient feels abundant and fresh. Each bagel has a deep, satisfying flavor that makes it hard to choose just one. If I had to pick a favorite, I’d recommend the blueberry bagel — it’s absolutely delicious!

Great place to pick up a quick, inexpensive breakfast while visiting Arlington. Three days in a row I had a Granola (made with raisins, oats, and nuts, topped with granola) egg breakfast sandwich. Such a tasty great value I had one 3 mornings in a row. Bagels are handmade fresh daily at this location and I received excellent service each visit.

Great bagels, but avoid ordering online. The physical line moves much faster than the digital queue. Online orders take extra time compared to walking in, even during busy periods. Order 230, for example, came out after order 295.

Really a delicious location! Stayed at a hotel just nearby and would stop by here before taking the Metro. I would have the sausage, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel with chive spread. Would split this with my sis and it satisfied us both.

First time I ordered myself and wasn’t given a bagel by family and I can say it’s definitely better than I would have said before. My go to bagel is whitefish with tomato onion on a poppy bagel, this time I got whitefish with double bacon tomato and onion and it was really good not your typical whitefish salad but still very good. Next time will get cheese or mayo with it.
