I’m so happy we finally have a Haitian restaurant in Jersey City! Friday October 10; I had time to visit with my family and my two year old and the space is beautiful! Staff is amazing. The food was GREAT 😌 especially the plantain cups 😋 I spent a little over $200 but it was worth it for a family of 5 and including the Fritay platter. Drinks, music and vibe all 5 stars in my opinion. Will be back for more

I will say that the Food was absolutely amazing. However, our food did take extremely long to come out. We had a reservation for just two at 8pm. We arrived at 7:55pm. When my husband and I arrived, we were the only customers there. Our appetizer didn’t come out until 8:40pm. The waitress came and asked about what we ordered about two times just to still bring out an extra order of rice that I didn’t ask for lol. But I didn’t make a big deal about it because at this point, I was just ready to eat and enjoy my night. But overall the food was really good I just think they need to work on their timing on bringing the food out and making sure the order is correct.

I came to this restaurant on Valentine’s Day with a party of three, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We were initially seated at a table meant for two and placed extremely close to another table and right next to the kitchen. We constantly had to shift and move out of the way for servers bringing food and for people trying to pass through. I understand it was Valentine’s Day and busy, but the space was so tight that we couldn’t even hear the server over the music. There was a four-person table open, and the server eventually offered to move us there, but we still had to wait about 20 minutes before being reseated. We also waited over 20 minutes just for someone to take our order, and when we asked for water and ice (since it’s BYOB), we never received it. I do wan

What a treat for my family to eat at Betties! Our server was Curry; he was so attentive & another waiter Sebastian was very generous. We were introduced to the chef after we raved to Curry & Sebastian about how delicious the food was. We all had different meals & each meal was incredibly flavorful! Will definitely visit again!

This restaurant is amazing. It’s filled with Haitian culture, food and vibes. My husband and I visited here from North Carolina. As soon as we walked in we were greeted immediately. The host and my husband spoke Creole to each other he (the host) helped us find parking and then seated us (w/our 11 month old baby). The atmosphere is somewhat intimate with dimmed lighting but the music helps to keep the vibes poppin’. Our food was so good we brought a second round. We definitely recommend this spot.
