We really enjoyed this very attractive Italian Cafe-type restaurant. We went with the Abe Froman, the Sunday Gravy with Meatballs, and the Braised Short Rib (which couldn't have been more tender and flavorful). All were incredible, as was the arancini appetizer we enjoyed. I've previously enjoyed the Big Short sandwich, the Pasta with Beans soup, and the Eggplant Rollatini (all appetizers). The pizza is also incredible...cooked in their brick oven. The homemade pasta, while delicious, is definitely VERY Al Dente (perhaps a bit more than most homemade pasta I've had). The service matched the quality of the food, as did the ambience and entree prices (altogether contributing to a 5 star rating)!

Let the pictures speak for themselves. The food is absolutely rubbish. We ordered the Bolognese and Veal & Eggplant as take out. The pasta was dry and the meat in the sauce tasted old. The veal & eggplant were fried until the texture resembled leather (in dirty old fryer oil). We called the restaurant to give our feedback and the person answering the phone was beyond rude and overly defensive. I think the owner should know what’s going on with their restaurant.

I picked up two pizzas last night. I got home and literally the margarita pizza was raw. They were both definitely under cooked but the margarita just gross. I complete waste of money . Will not go back. I wasn’t in a rush and I would have been happy to wait for my food to be cooked!! Also got the tempura broccoli , such a huge let down!!!

Don’t sleep on their sandwiches! The Sophia is my go to…eggplant, artichokes, vodka sauce, whipped ricotta, arugula, the best!!! I’ve also had The Big Short and the Goodfella — they are excellent as well. Also, the "seasoned focaccia style ciabatta" is the way to go! (Might make your fingers a bit greasy, but totally worth it!) The Eddie Mush-Room is their best pizza on the regular menu.

I had an amazing dining experience! The food is consistently the best Italian I've ever had, and it never disappoints. I want to give a special shoutout to Phoebe, who took such great care of me and the other tables. Her hard work and attention to detail made our visit even more enjoyable. Thank you, Phoebe, for making our experience so memorable! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic Italian cuisine!
