Customer Reviews
A delicious pizza and a team that cares. It might be your takeout spot but you should try dining in the clean and inviting dining room. They serve beer and wine and the pizza is delicious. Served hot and fresh ingredients, they use cornmeal unde the crust so it has a great crisp crunch not soggy. We had cheese NY style with mushrooms, olives and Basil. Easy and affordable.
The pizza is great overall. The canned beer is not cold enough. The service could be improved by havIng someone manage the take out, and another person the tables. It is not fair for the server to have to do it all. I will be back for the Hawaiian!
Other positive reviews and pictures were consistent with our experience. Friendly staff, typical NY style pizza, inexpensive (18 inch pizza enough for 3-4).
I'm going 4.5 but rounding up. The young lady who took care of us was very friendly; in fact, every staff member we spoke to was great and attentive. We were sat immediately and our food and drinks were brought out quickly. A few of my fellow NY transplants on here have said that this isn't NY pizza apart from the size of the slice, and they're right to an extent. No, this is not the kind of pizza you're going to get at an old family run Brooklyn pizzeria. I ordered the cheese pie and there seemed to be another type of cheese blended in with the mozzarella (perhaps for more flavor?), and the sauce tasted closer to a vodka style sauce than a rich tomato sauce. This is something you'd likely find in the now trendy Williamsburg or Dumbo area of Brooklyn. The kind of places that do a more g
The NY style pizza was definitely NOT NY style pizza. The crust was all wrong. The sauce was fine, nothing great but not bad either. The wild mushroom topping was good. We also got a NY style margarita pizza, the crust was all wrong and barely any mozzarella. The $20 salad was expired, with moldy lettuce and obviously from a bag. Our check was $110 for salad and 2 pizzas, we tipped well because the server was good, she was also very kind and doing the bus boy's job. Come on guys, do better.
