Beyond Sushi

Wow! If you are vegan, you do not want to miss this. We ordered the lunch special which included 5 dumplings and maki for 19 dollars. The ginger beef and mango maki were the best. The five spice chicken was also delicious. The spicy tuna maki was nothing special but delicious anyway. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and great location near the MoMA.

delicious vegan sushi! i have been here on a previous trip to nyc and was keen to return. we booked online however we realised the booking system is for the other location, so be aware of this if you are using resy. they still fit us in and service was pretty good. food was great and prices are reasonable - the spicy salmon was a standout! definitely recommend this place!

Spotted this place, and went straight for it. Super amazing food and service to match it, will definitely be back for more. An absolute recommended place for vegans.

A must visit vegan restaurant!! I come to Beyond Sushi every time I'm in town and the experience is top tier. Service is excellent. Food comes out quickly and looks and tastes delicious. Finally ordered an appropriate amount of food to have room for dessert and the ube cheesecake is to die for. 😍😩🤩 I want to order seven more pieces as I'm typing this review.

Most likely the best spot in NYC for vegan sushi, full stop. As with all of the City Roots Hospitality Group, the meat (well, fish in this case) alternatives are mind-blowing and the flavour combos are well thought out and delicious. We went for: -Philadelphia Maki -Salmon Avocado -Tuna Nigiri And we were impressed by the presentation and taste of everything (although the Philadelphia roll was a “wow” level highlight). Service was prompt and very friendly. We will absolutely be coming back if we visit NYC again to try more of the menu!
