Biergarten on the Bay

We were surprised how many families with small children were packed in there being that it’s connected to the pelican brewery building and everyone was drinking alcohol. Kind of ruined what could have been a peaceful water view due to the screaming, running and overall loud noises. Food was decent, but a little spendy although what isn’t these days… we really enjoyed the German potato salad that came with our sausage platter and the pretzel was soft and delicious. The Bavarian theme was neat and is the main point that lured us into trying it. Likely wouldn’t go back but it was fun trying it once.

Ordered on DoorDash so didn’t see inside, but this food was AMAZING! Unique food options that were so good and seemed authentic. My family shared the pretzels, bratwurst sandwich, the trio, and cucumber and potato salad. I’ve not had anything like it and now I’m bummed that I’m not a local because I would definitely become a regular.

I'm sure it's good but it's only open during summer, warmer weather because it's more of an outdoor venue. Was told you can order some of the food from the Beirgarten, but it's TOGO only. So bummed it wasn't open when I went.

This is directly attached to Pelican brewing building. This is a nice idea but with some real flaws in execution. The food and service personnel are very good. I had the sausage on a roll with sides. The German potato salad was very much like my Austrian g-ma made and the cucumber salad was also very good. Dissapointingly only 2 beers were available and they were canned. You could access the full tap list by going inside and making a separate purchase. The newage background music lacked any energy or ethnic flavor. The view is good and the fireplace is nice. If it had taps, or a selection of radlers and German beers in bottles, and cheep snacks it could be a great place to meet and socialize. Right now this is just the inside restaurant but colder and with less options at the same price.

Went here and enjoyed the food and it was super amazing. Friendly atmosphere, friendly staff and I asked for the name of the person that was helping us because he was very friendly and helpful. I believe his name Allen, he was great. All staff was amazing.
