Big 10 Sports Bar & Grill Downtown Lincoln

Date Night A few weeks ago we went to Big 10 Downtown for the first time to check out one of our Favorite local cover bands DadRock🤘🤘🤘! We got there like an hour before the show cuz we actually like to talk to each other while we eat. There were a decent amount of people already there but we found a seat right away. I told my husband we had to try the Tractor Wheel Pretzel Board. Huge (literally) selling point at this place. A Ginormous Pretzel filled with (what looked to be) 3 Full Sized apps of your choice. We went with Garlic Cheese Curds, freaking amazing. Smoked Gouda Mac Bites, he loved them. And Onion Rings- SO Many and I used all the dips. The Pretzel itself comes with its own Vat of Queso. Idk what’s going on with big 10 but they need to get it together. I’m guessing new management. The food has always been to die for, but the last few times, I got served a cold plate of food that had been sitting at the counter. Quality went down drastically. Mind you, I always order the same few things, so I know what to expect. On a busy day , I noticed a cook working hard, clearly irritated, meanwhile a fellow in glasses standing there on his phone at the counter, completely oblivious. Do better. One mistake is ok, to be disappointed 2+ times is absurd. As customers, we observe and we notice. Can’t tell ya the next time I’ll be back.

We were visiting Lincoln for the Good Life Halfsy Marathon and luckily decided to go in. This place is awesome and the vibe amazing! The Huskers had a game that night and the place was packed. We were able to find a couple seats at one of the bigger tables and wonderful Huskers fans sitting there welcomed us to join them. The service and food were great. For as busy as it was the burger, chicken fried chicken we ordered were hot and came out at in a good time. We were also drinking water with our adult drinks and our server brought us a large pitcher of water. I also liked the big water coolers and cups set up with the sign hydrate. I would visit again especially on game day for the great energy of the place. We spoke to the couple that invited us to sit the entire time the game was going

pool tables are awesome, however my only complaint is food often comes out cold. we go at not very busy times of the day, so it often gets left sitting at the window for 5-10 minutes til the bartender realizes its up. same with keno, other employees will notice me but not say anything to the current keno writer that they have someone waiting to play, who isnt doing anything except has their back turned to keno. on multiple occasions i had to go get staff’s attention who are watching tvs to get my ticket in before game closing. communication is key in the bar world! and a bell or something for the kitchen would help the food from being forgotten about on multiple occasions.

Once again the Taco Tuesday special delivers. I so look forward to knowing for at least one of my weekly meals, it's going to be cost effective and delicious 😋 What really takes this simple meal over the top is the homemade salsa and the green and red Tobasco sauce and the Tapatio and Cholula sauces.
