Big Ed's Bar-Be-Que

I’m a southern girl the barbecue was not bbq’ n at all. This was this worst I’ve ever ate and it made my sons stomach ache. The macaroni was the worst.

I’m so disappointed in the potato salad, It doesn’t taste homemade, taste store bought. I couldn’t imagine a Bbq joint not making their sides from scratch. Very disappointing

Stood in line so happy to finally get some pulled pork and brunswick stew! After what seemed like 5 min. I over heard the lady tell the women before me that they didn't have pulled pork and they haven't served brunswick stew in a long time. I re asked the question to have it confirmed. Why is it call barbeque if you don't serve the food. All over it has signs for stew and pulled pork. Boooo

We’ve had Big Ed’s a couple of times before he moved and the food was always great. The food from this visit was awful. We ordered two pull pork dinners and a rib tip dinner with two lemonades. It came out to $44. Each plate came with two sides. We had the same sides Mac and cheese and baked beans. The Mac and Cheese was hard and barely edible. The baked beans were straight out the can. And the lemonade was Country Time with no sugar added. We didn’t wait long and it was obvious that nothing was that fresh. I would have given the pull pork a pass until I chewed something rubbery. We will never go again.

Ordered takeout online, which took forever to pick-up after I arrived. They didn't have one of the menu items I ordered so, I had to substitute it for something else. Customer service was decent. BBQ was okay...myself as well as family found it to be too salty from over seasoning. I had to rinse the ribs to make it palatable. The greens were okay...too much vinegar and salt. I may give them a second try in the future if nothing else is available in the area.
