I really wanted to give 5 stars, but a few things kept it at 4. The brisket was excellent, but the ribs were dried out and the chicken was so dry it was tough to eat. The sides were all quality, but I do wish they offered fountain drinks with refills instead of only 12oz cans at $1.75 each—after a couple, it adds up quickly. The staff was great, and it might have just been the timing (around 2:30 pm) that affected the moisture of the meats. I’ll definitely give it another try in the future, and I’m hoping for a better outcome so I can update this to a 5-star review.

First time here. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Owner came out to touch base with us to make sure everything was OK. portions and pricing a great match. Definitely will be in favorite for us.

Was great to see my cousins at the BIG8. In this picture, all that was left was the peach cobbler & a few take home boxes. I love that the BIG8 specializes in SMOKED dishes. I can't remember what everyone else had, but I had smoked Pastrami, smoked Brisket, smoked potato salad, & spicy smoked collard greens! Can't wait to go back with more friends & family and try a few other smoked things on the menu. I forgot to tell everybody but they also have a smoked drink there! 😆 I don't know how I missed that. I would love it if they put smoked German beer on the menu as a specialty item.

We eat a lot of BBQ and I’m always looking for the places that bring “home” to my mouth! We went for dinner on a Sunday and I knew I would be reviewing them so we ordered big. We had the pick 2 meal and ordered cocktails. It was delicious. They make their own sauces, we thought all the meat was cooked to perfection. The Cole slaw was delicious. Our waitress (Cassidy) was great too! Definitely recommend!
