BIGUN'S PLACE

I was excited to try the “new buffet” in town after seeing a few good Facebook reviews. Clearly, those must’ve been written on a very generous day. When I arrived, the buffet was fully stocked… with sides. Just sides. Not a single piece of meat in sight. I figured no problem—I’ll grab a salad and surely they’ll restock while I wait. Nope. Went back again, still no meat. I politely asked if more food was coming out, and when it finally did, they brought out barely anything, like it was a personal favor. Somehow, this place had no issue charging me $12 for a mediocre salad and wasted time. Calling this a buffet is generous at best. I won’t be returning—ever. I’ll happily stick with Keystone Inn, which is a solid 5-star restaurant compared to whatever this was supposed to be.

The buffet was very good! I particularly liked the fried chicken... it was excellent! They had fried porkchops and small chunks of pork that was fried. It was ALL very, very good! The decor was family pictures and personal items that belong to Gene and his family. The waitress was attentive and polite... overall it was a great experience and will certainly be back.

I didn't get to try everything but the food I did try was of good quality and flavored well. Our server was new and acted a little nervous but was very attentive to our needs and made sure our drinks were refilled when needed. The atmosphere was great and as expected at a down home country buffet restaurant.

WELL FIRST OFF WE WENT FIRST DAY OF OPEN ME AND ELDERLY FAMILY BOTH US FROM START HAD BAD START WAITER GREET US CLEARLY SEE ELDERLY WAS IN METAL LEG BRACES BARELY COULD WALK SHE MAD US SIT IN FAR BACK FURTHEST FROM BUFFET DESPITE CLOSE TABLES OPEN WE EXPLAINED IT SGE DIDNT SEEM CARE DIDNT LET US GET CLISER TWBLE, THE ELDERLY MADE HAD FEW FOOD ISSUES AND SWEET TEA HE GOT WAS NOT SWEET ETC. THEN SAID THEY FIX IT MAKE IT SWEET THEY WENT DUMP IT REFILL IT ON SAME BATCH AS SEEN WAS SAME TEA LMFAO.. THEN AS FOR ME I GOT ONE PARTIAL COOKEN CHICKEN BRONG TO ATTENTION BITE INTO IT HAD SOME PARTIAL RAW MIDDLE THEY ONLY SAID SORRY TOOK IT N DUMPED IT.SECOND BELL PEPPER WAS VERY AND PLAIN TO TASTE WALMARTS FROZEN STUFF PEPERS BETTER N MORE FLAVOR LOL. THEN PIES BLUEBERRY HAD NOT FULLY COOKED BATTER

Great little place. Everything was super hot, fresh and homemade. The owner came over and chatted a bit. Very friendly person and Great staff. Very clean. I see big things for this place.
