Billy Sunday's Sports Grill

I happened to be in Hurricane and really wanted a burger. This place came up and I decided to give it a go. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. I got a deluxe burger with crinkle fries and pickle spear. The food came out hot and fresh and the burger was very large. I'm not a big salt fan and everything was too salty for me, but for normal people it would be fine. The crinkle fries were $2 extra, but definitely worth the money. The food came out with squeeze bottles of ketchup and a good quality ranch dressing. Other than the salt level, my only complaint is how much mustard was put on my burger. Next time I will ask for all condiments on the side and put my own on there, since I am picky about that. Next time I'm in Hurricane and want a burger, I would choose Billy agai

Visited on a Friday night around 8pm and had a great experience at this friendly neighborhood spot. It’s seat-yourself, with menus on every table, so getting settled is easy. Our waitress greeted us immediately, and when we told her it was our first visit, she let us know everything on the menu is both good—and big! She also informed us right away that they were out of bologna. I ordered a bottle of Modelo (they didn’t have Negro Modelo) and an unsweet tea. For food, I went with the Herd Burger and tater tots; my daughter had the BBQ Sandwich with crinkle fries. Both meals were served in baskets with a pickle spear on the side. Waited an hour for 2 burgers! Burgers and fries were barely warm when served! Burger was small, didn’t come close to covering the bun! Service was terrible! TV on the wall above our booth was so loud we could barely hear each other! Will be my last trip to this establishment!

First, the waitress had no personality and was rude. Took 1 1/2 to get food and was burnt when we did get it. You never know who you are serving. Between the service and the food this place will close down in a year! Also, with no management there this speaks volumes!

The food got the job done, but it's nothing I can write home about. The establishment was clean, inviting and the service was perfect. I had the double cheeseburger and a side salad. The cheeseburger was very large and took both hands to eat, which was a very good thing. The meat was exceptionally juicy and cooked to perfection. The vegetables and condiments were very fresh and full of life. The reason I am not terribly excited about the visit is because I feel the cheeseburger could use more seasoning. The cheeseburger was very good, but it has the potential to be amazing. The side salad was beautiful and contained just the right portions of fresh ingredients. The lack of seasoning is my only complaint, but because everything else was done perfectly, I am retaining the 5 stars for t
