My family and I visited The Mini's Oyster Bar one evening and had a wonderful experience! The restaurant was quite crowded, which is always a good sign. We had to wait a little bit for a table, but it wasn't too long at all. The food was really good—everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. What truly stood out, though, was the service; the staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome despite how busy they were. We would definitely recommend eating here if you are looking for great seafood and a welcoming atmosphere. We will be back!
We tried them on Super Bowl Sunday but they were closed. No worries we tried again a different day. It was worth the wait. This has become our go to oyster roast place the last few years as most others are closed now. Such is life. My wife and I got one full oyster roast and a flounder, shrimp and fritter plate with chips. All were great. I prefer my oysters a little less well done but my wife has less trouble getting into the more well done oysters so we're good either way. This local favorite never fails to deliver top shelf food and service.
My wife and I went there to eat. We were seated really fast. The service was good. There are no hush puppies to begin your meal with like at other seafood restaurants. They have crackers. Had to wait a little longer than normal for fried seafood which was flounder and shrimp. I got three hush puppies with my one piece of flounder and a handful of shrimp that cost almost $20. The hush puppies were almost burnt but they were edible. My wife got a shrimp basket and got a decent amount of shrimp for her order.
Was in Myrtle Beach for 4 days. Had two meals at Bimini's. We had a dozen fresh raw oysters, the calamari, and a three combo plate of original shrimp, fried flounder and crab cake, all were excellent. The wait staff are friendly and jovial. When we come back, we will come back to Bimini's, probably multiple times. For reference, the oysters were 18.95, calamari 12.95, And the three combo platter was 31.95. sorry for the poor quality photos, the food was too good to eat after the photos
Raw oysters on point, I ordered crab cake and fried fish. The fish was grouper chunks and incredibly good. Perfect beach restaurant Key lime pie dessert was great too. Our server was great attentive and made great suggestions
