Bird on a Roof is a must visit when in Montauk! The atmosphere perfectly captures that easygoing, coastal charm, with a relaxed vibe that makes you feel right at home. It's the kind of place where you can truly unwind before or after a day at the beach. The brunch was amazing, so fresh and delicious! Our waiter was very sweet and attentive. Highly recommend!

I love this place! I’ve come for both breakfast and dinner and it’s wild it feels like two totally different restaurants with how it transforms- in a good way! I’m the AM I had a little bit of everything, great pistachio latte and plenty of gluten free options! It was sunny and great atmosphere. my waitress was really upbeat. Dinner really blew me away in particular. The Chef Jake is truly an artist. Not only was the food delicious and so clearly intentionally crafted with love, it also kept suprising me with the choices of presentation that felt so fun and like a wonderful visual journey. The crispy rice and this unique blue crab appetizer made me borderline emotional it was that good! I wish I took more photos - everything was gorgeous. Also that space has such a cozy romantic vibe to it

A favorite spot for decades. Last time we visited the wait was about 30 mins but we grabbed a counter spot by the bar right away. The vibe was fun for a Saturday afternoon. Everyone having a great time at the bar talking to each other. I noticed how they were cool with allowing dogs. That’s a note worthy plus. I recommend the Bloody Mary. Very yummy, strong too! Hit just right. The breakfast sandwich and pancakes were delicious too!

The food was okay, nothing too special, but the service was amazing and the staff were really friendly. The atmosphere was clean and very nice, which made it a pleasant spot overall. Just a heads-up, if you’re looking for a cool place to eat during the hot summer, this might not be the best choice since it gets super hot inside.

The best food we had in Montauk, we went back two nights in a row with friends. The dishes are very elaborate, with unique blends and flavours that come out divine. I was not expecting this type of cuisine in Montauk. Every single dish we tried was delicious. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and homey. Absolutely must try.
