Birrieria Gonzalez

I’ve eaten at all the places on Laurel Canyon. Decided to try the Birrieria Gonzalez truck. We were do disappointed. Tacos were made have terribly. She hardly put any onions and cilantro on it, she slapped a little meat in them. As for the burritos sad sad sad. There was no love in this meal and she could have given a hoot. Mexicans take pride in their food. This young lady destroyed it! Never eating there again the trucks and stands around there are 10000 percent better!!!

It’s very hard to find a good birria spot I been passing by this place for a while and seen a lot of people at this location so I decided to give it a try. This is my third time coming here and they have not disappointed me. I normally get 2 tacos de birria and a medium consume and let me tell you it’s very delicious! I would only trust my friends mom or my girlfriends mom when it comes to birria but this place does it right! I’m glad stopped by and tried it. And let tell you their red salsa is fire! 🔥🔥. It’s pretty spicy and I love it! I saw some bad reviews but don’t let it stop you from trying it . I got out of work thinking about some good tacos i go and google birria tacos saw the stars and the reviews here and i order 5 tacos,got home and this is what i got ... who would eat this? They were like if they were old they werent crunchy !! Disgusting i threw them away so disappointed 😞

As of today 1/28/2026 will never go back to this location the lady was very rude I mean crazy rude, I walked up to window and walked away within seconds..Time 5:30 pm.

It’s rare for me to even eat Birria if my mom didn’t cook it, but I finally found somewhere that reminds me of my mom’s cooking. Thanks to my boyfriend for putting me on to this Birria truck, because dam it’s so delicious. I have only had bomb birria like this in Tecate,MX. It’s the perfect hangover cure. The meat is so tender and has great flavor. The salsa is also fire.
