We chose this establishment for our Thanksgiving dinner, and it was a truly exceptional 5-star experience from start to finish. Ambiance & Seating: The setting is beautiful and very well-designed. We particularly appreciated the seating arrangement—the tables are spaced far enough apart that we could easily have a pleasant conversation without being drowned out by the noise from other diners, which is a big plus. Service Highlight: The service was fantastic. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. A small but significant detail: they were thoughtful enough to advise us that our initial request for the jumbo shrimp cocktail might be too large for two people and suggested we order less, which we did. This kind of thoughtful attentiveness shows genuine care for the guest expe

My fifth and last Dine Out Boston 2026 Winter visit: Bistro du Midi, boasting views of Boston Common. A fusion restaurant primarily serving French cuisine, with an exquisite and unique design. Table Bread: Unremarkable. The bread was ordinary, and regardless, the aroma of olive oil simply wasn't as strong as butter. East Coast Oysters, Narragansett Bay Clams, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail: The shells were fresh but on the smaller side; the shrimp were large but overcooked. The cocktail sauce was perfectly balanced in terms of tanginess, sweetness, and spiciness, refreshing and flavorful. The mignonette was ridiculously sour; one bite immediately stung my throat… Wagyu Beef Tartare: A delightful surprise! The oil richness of the Wagyu beef, the smoothness of the quail eggs, the subtle fragrance

We visited this beautiful restaurant on our wedding anniversary, and the experience was truly lovely. While there were limited vegetarian options, everything we tried was excellent. We started with the soup as an appetizer, which was delicious, and ordered the beet gnocchi as well. I personally loved the beet gnocchi — creamy, well-balanced, and perfectly done. For dessert, we had the chocolate soufflé, and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Absolutely loved it and a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion.

We had a wonderful dinner at Bistro du Midi. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent, and Roland took great care of us. He was warm, attentive, and really elevated the experience. We both chose the tasting menu. The highlights were the beet gnocchi, truffle tagliatelle and the amuse bouche, which was rich and flavorful. The only downside was the trout, which had a few small bones in it, a bit surprising; also, the experience lasted over two hours which was unexpected. The dessert was tasty and very creative. The atmosphere was elegant but relaxed, perfect for a special night out. It was a lovely evening and memorable meal overall.

We went here for the day before New Year's Eve and ordered a la carte. We thought this was the best value for money as vegetarians. There were a few vegetarian dishes, and all of them were pretty good, though the entrees were primarily pasta based. The beetroot gnocci looked deliciously plated but was a bit strong on the cheese and less on the beet flavour, which we would have preferred more of. The roasted carrots with pomegranate appetizer was our favourite, along with the creme brulee dessert! Overall, a great experience and we would go back!
