Black Bear Diner Lake Havasu

Coming into town early evening and hungry. Wife looks up grub online and comes up with this place. It's a chain of over 100 locations but we'd never heard of it before. Incredible luck. We wanted to sit in a booth but none were available so we waited. No fewer than 5 different (very friendly) people approached us while we were waiting to ask about getting us seated. Our server, Courtney, was delightful, helpful, and efficient. Not only was the food fresh, well prepared, and beautiful, but the portions are enormous. The Cobb Salad was absolutely loaded with crispy chicken, crumbled bleu cheese, avocado, chopped thick sliced crispy bacon, croutons, hard boiled eggs, chopped tomato and onion, on a super fresh bed of romaine and iceberg lettuce. The bleu cheese dressing was served in a bowl! A

The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The prices were reasonable. The food was great.

Black Bear Diner served up the best breakfast I had on my entire U.S. trip. The pancakes were incredible — I got them with chocolate chips, and they were absolutely ginormous. Even though it’s a franchise, it still manages to feel like a cozy, local spot.

They stay open until 10! The food was fresh, fast and delicious. There is a Chef there. Menu offers great variety but not overwhelming. The manager was incredibly welcoming and gracious as we entered 15 min. Before closing. It was clear the remaining customers were regulars and warm rapport throughout. This is our new place to grab a bite. Thank you BBD and Sean.
