Black Bear Diner Scottsdale

I absolutely loved the food and big portions! The servers was great, and it had a little store, reminded me of like a Cracker Barrell of the West. But much better! The food was hot, fresh, and served quickly for the busyness of the place. My 75 year old dad wanted to eat there everyday! Beautifully decorated!

Thanksgiving dinner was $27, but very average. Pie and beans were bad, but everything else was serviceable. Probably not back next year. Got the Bears choice breakfast with some very good sweet cream pancakes. Add the crunchy bacon and scrambled eggs and it was a filling meal. Get it for free with rewards membership.

What a delicious, local restaurant with every imaginable breakfast item in large portions. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting our server, Mia. The local patrons also noticed and welcomed us. We love Scottsdale and when coming annually always plan to make a stop at the Black Bear Cafe. Can’t wait to try the desserts in the future.

One of my favorite restaurants. I first found them in Vegas. They started on California and have numerous locations throughout the states. They just opened one in Morris Illinois this year. The food is delicious and portions plentiful. It is a bear themed atmosphere (hence the name) that is comfortable and pleasant. You will love all the beats carved into wood poles, benches and free standing sculptures with plenty of bear photos and art displayed on the walls. I highly recommend this restaurant chain.

First time in this restaurant. Friendly fast service, food was delicious, big plates with a lot of food. If you like traditional American food this is your place.....be back.
