Black Cap has some of the best coffee in northern VT. The sandwiches and baked goods are absolutely delicious and well prepared. Staff is very friendly. One of my favorite places.

Really tasty and delicious coffee here. Pastry case is full of options too, of all textures, flavors and sugar content. Yum. Plentiful casual seating in two rooms, with a decent smattering of cards, books and other gifting items on display to browse.

The staff here is exceptionally rude and unwelcoming, and the atmosphere is not very friendly. Management lacks warmth, and I’ve witnessed dismissive behavior toward customers. Coffee and food are average, and the WiFi is inconsistent. Customer service could be improved.
