Black Chicken Coffee House & Gifts

After waiting patiently to order while a new employee was being trained, I opted for a small crème brûlée iced latte. I asked for cold foam, but was not told it would be an up charge and then sadly that was all I could taste. Two small lattes, one shot of expresso each, and cold foam on top = $18.97. The coffee shop itself is beautiful, and has a clean and cozy vibe but the price did not pay off for the flavor or experience.

I got a Latte Coffee only, shots pulled looked watery/weak. Plain latte was flavorless and did not taste like espresso at all. Great place if you like the sugary type of coffees or “lite” coffee flavor. I ended up buying and adding a chai teabag to make a dirty latte to give it some flavor. Atmosphere is nice though and service was stellar! They also have an awesome selection of tea bags.

Love this old house/coffee shop. They have a huge menu of specialty coffees and the staff is incredibly warm. Food options are limited but they seem to be ok with people bringing in their own food. Cute place I always stop when I’m in the area!

The coffee was delicious but the service was not great at all. One cashier greeted me and told me to take my time while I order, but the other cashier that actually took my order just stared at me, never greeted me, after I said hello, she walked in fast past me and my hubby while we were waiting , not a word was said. The atmosphere was very cozy but the interaction was not at all. We were traveling and passed by decided to stop. Hopefully this establishment will gain employees that will enjoy helping customers

We were pleasantly surprised by this coffee shop. Friendly staff in an historic house. Large variety of coffee drinks, some baked goods, and other crafts.
