Black Diamond BBQ - McAllen

Arrived late and missed the brisket. Ordered pulled pork and sausage with beans and baked potatoes casserole. The order came out shortly with two slices of bread and pickles and onions. Was pleasantly surprised by the flavor the pulled pork and sausages. I made a sausage sandwich with pickles onions and a touch of bbq sauce. This was especially good. The baked potato casserole was great but the beans were on a whole other level. Beans were crazy good! Service was very good, inside it was clean and well lit. Overall I very much enjoyed dining here and definitely recommend.

Nice little lunch spot. Kind of a hole in the wall with46 seats Had the 3 meat with 2 sides platter +1 extra side. Portions were a good value for quality and quantity. This was enough to feed 2 people. Brisket was juicy with a nice bark. Smoked sausage was good. Loved the smoked turkey. Saddened that cowboy Twinkie is available only on Friday. Come early to get choices because they will run out by the end of the day.

Yall got a great BBQ spot. I went on a Wednesday and got the lunch special of the loaded potato.. that is a must try. Came back today for the Friday special of the Texas Twinkies. Wow I was super impressed by the atmosphere the cooks the lay out. The spicy pickles are my favorite as well. Prices are perfect. Good size serving of food. Great vibes. I will be back for sure

Best BBQ I've had, so far. Their smoked turkey is the best! Love that they have a different lunch special each day and that it's super economical. Their cafeteria style line moves quickly and efficiently. They have a variety of delicious sides to choose from. We try to make it a point to go at least once a week. Check it out... you won't be disappointed.
