Black Rock Coffee Bar

I was soooo excited when this black rock location opened up because it's right next to my house. I started coming here 4-5 times a week once they opened. The first few weeks were awesome and the drinks tasted amazing! You could actually taste the coffee no matter what drink you ordered. Unfortunately, now they are serving burnt milk and when I watch them make the espresso shots (while I wait a ridiculously long time) the espresso shots hardly ever land in the cups. Whether it's the barista half ass pouring the tiny shots into the cup itself, or their placement of the tiny cups under the machine. These are small things but lead to drinks tasting like burnt milk and straight syrup. For $7-8, the latte should taste like coffee. I shouldn't have to order an extra shot off espresso just to get

I wanted to like this. I really want there to be a few options for reliable quality coffee. We ordered 2 drinks. My husband's drink was so bad he said it was "gross". Ordered him an Almond Milk Vanilla Latte. I'm not sure what they did wrong. My Almond Milk (1/2 sweet) Mocha was ok. I drank it. But we absolutely wasted $7 on the vanilla latte. Please do better. Aspen Grove gets our drinks correct every time. Dutch is consistent and reliable. Jack Henry is good. My 3 stars is generous. Hopefully I can see improvement if we give them another chance, and perhaps upgrade the review. We really miss when more people cared about quality.

Awesome service the first time I went. So I decided to stop by today; ordered a Fuel with peach, strawberry and white chocolate sauce. Paid 13.98 for a SINGLE, MEDIUM drink. Didn’t make sense to me by still decided to pay for it and not say anything. I asked someone who had recently gone and ordered the exact same drink, same size, and only paid shy of $7. Couldn’t go back and ask because my order doesn’t show on my app and I didn’t ask for receipt.

Im reading these bad reviews and really surprised. We had a great first impression. Everything was reasonably priced and tasted amazing. We got 3 drinks, two burritos, and donut holes. My expectations were low for the burritos but for $5 they were decent sized and tasted good, not amazing by any means but still exceeded my expectations. The donut holes were super soft, moist, and tasted amazing. All of us were happy with our drinks and they were all the right drink. My 1 piece of feedback was they need a new microphone (which may be contributing to the wrong orders) because I was practically yelling so she could hear me.

I walked up to the window because I have a trailer. All I got were blank stares from the 2 employees inside. Neither bothered to say a word to me. I watched 3 cars have their orders taken that showed up as I waited. When they finally decided to acknowledge me I was told they were out of product to make my drink. I never have these problems at the other locations. The Caldwell location sucks.
