Black Swan

Denise & I went down to visit Jefferson on a Thursday July 3rd, 2025. Each and every conversation I had with Darrell was awesome. They were originally filled up and then he called me back with an opening. We stayed 4 days/3 nights getting to enjoy wonderful conversations with Darrell & Christie. The food at breakfast was wonderful both days and enjoying the Fireworks on July 4th from the back patio of the Black Swan was awesome. Getting to know the couple and their new pup Mollie was great. We had a delightful stay at the Black Swan BnB in June. The home is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Christi and Darrell were very attentive to our needs, and the breakfast was delicious. The décor of the home is very nice, and the suite was very comfortable. We stayed there last summer, and we will visit there again at our next opportunity. We highly recommend them.

Loved the Black Swan - can’t wait to go back and visit again. I am torn between giving it the accolades it deserves and gate keeping so I can get reservations when I go back. The service is impeccable. Darryl and Christie are just amazing with all the touches and details. We had breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. It was so delicious and filling we didn’t eat u til dinner! The house is a beautiful combination of history and amenities. Our room had a clawfoot tub (which we didn’t use but fully intend to next time!) The upstairs porch was lovely for people watching. The location is the best. You are right on Main Street and everything is within walking distance. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Just got back from an amazing girls’ trip in Jefferson, Tx and cannot say enough good things about The Black Swan B&B!! Darryl & Christi are phenomenal hosts and are so attentive and friendly! We had delicious breakfasts on the veranda both mornings we were there - way more food than I could eat…but I tried because everything was so tasty! The house and the rooms were very comfy and clean and just perfect for relaxing and hanging out in. And you can’t beat the location - right on Austin Street and a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants. We definitely will be going back to The Black Swan!!

Wonderful stay at the Black Swan B&B. nicely refurbished house circa 1904. Only two large suites so no worry about crowds. Hosts were great people who gave close attention to needs and wishes. I could live on the large balcony.|Breakfast was hearty and nicely prepared. This place is worthy of another stay.||Thanks Darrel and Christi for a great stay.||Bill and Kathryn
