Blackbeard's Triple Play Restaurant and Sports Bar

This is a chain, and the theme is Pirates, of course, there is a lot of tables, and a bar area. They had music bingo going when we ate here. There is also a huge bank of TVs linked together, along with several others throughout. Service was good, and the food is glorified bar fare. Lots of burgers and fried foods. I had a Cheesesteak that was unlike any other I’ve experienced. I suppose I’m jaded, being from the North, but I was not impressed. It was served open faced with tomato’s, onions, lettuce and scant meat and a bit greasy. My wife had a Mac&cheese burger and liked it. My fried okra was ok. We had wings for an app that were meaty. They also gave us nice crisp hush puppies. It’s very family friendly so if you want to bring the kids, they will probably enjoy the pirate decor.

Holy cow - first time here and the food made my whole day. The fried pickles cut and crisped to perfection, the sauce - all house made - was amazing and the QUANTITY! Im a sauce girl and our super courteous server Mecca delivered enough sauce I knew I could enjoy it with my whole meal. The hush puppies and honey butter were *chefs kiss* and my chicken bacon ranch wrap brought back memories from my childhood. The food was great but our server made the experience one to repeat - shoutout to Mecca for helping us establish our new lunch date spot.

Brunch is back and it is AMAZING. Menu offers a great selection of new mains and sides, and complimentary hush puppies with honey butter (drool worthy). We enjoyed an Irish coffee with our waffles today. Service was also fantastic, thank you to the very friendly and tentative Lilly for aiding in our lovely experience today! Can't wait to come in next week and try something new.

My boyfriend and I love coming here to eat. I love the Cajun Alfredo with chicken! He either gets wings or a burger. They never disappoint. Mecca is the best and made sure our food and service was above and beyond!

Crab cakes were delicious and very generous portions. Our waitress, Lily, was very attentive, kept our drinks full and checked on us frequently. Excellent customer service!
