Blackbird Doughnuts / Sally's Sandwiches - Brighton

Server was nice. We served choose to their closing time so there was not a big selection. We got the Boston cream donut and a cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun was good. The Boston cream donuts was mediocre, the filling was okay, but the dough was not cooked all the way through. The donuts we got are 5.50 each. For that price, I expected more. I am unlikely to go back, seems overpriced and mediocre to me.

I love the donuts here, truly and keep coming back for their seasonal flavors. Unfortunately had an incident where I wanted to clarify which donuts were included in the mixed dozen and was met with frustration by the server and seemed she/they was begrudgingly sharing what those flavors were. I wish I could say I will be back but this experience tainted it.

Not busy at all. Tried ordered online said 30 mins. Ended up ordering in person took like 10 mins. Wanted something quick. 2 breakfast burritos, 2 Lattes and 3 donuts were pretty good but almost $60. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Seemed like a butcher shop vibe vs Coffeeshop bakery vibe.

Blackbird never disappoints. Great flavors, seasonally always changing, donuts have variety depending on which type of dough/base you get. My favorite is the chocolate cake frosted but it always runs out! Get here early!

Strange location in a back alley but the donuts are delicious. Was a little disappointed by the availability of flavors I specifically went there for being that they literally just opened for the day
