Blacksburg Bed & Breakfast

The Blacksburg B&B was perfect for our college visit. Communication was excellent and the location is ideal, with an easy walk to trails, downtown restaurants, and campus. Check-in and check-out couldn’t be simpler. There’s no front desk, just enter the last four digits of your registered phone number into the key lock (house and room) and you’re in. We parked right directly by our front door. We stayed two nights in the Dogwood House (Cascade Room) which provided a first-floor, two-bedroom suite with access to a shared living room and kitchen. It worked perfectly for our needs and was pet-friendly, which our dog Junie appreciated. These are older homes, so you may hear footsteps if the two upstairs bedrooms are occupied, but it wasn’t an issue for us. We opted to eat out for breakfast

Room was great! I made arrangements thru trip advisor. Didn’t receive check-in instructions. I arrived around 6 pm; couldn’t find anyone in person to talk with or check-in with. Finally located phone # & called. Spoke to someone then & checked-in successfully. Only spent one night so not much to say.|I’ve never stayed at a bed & breakfast where I was charged for breakfast. My 1st choice on the menu was the oatmeal but I wasn’t paying $10 for a bowl of oatmeal so I can’t speak to the breakfast piece.

This is such a cozy place! The service was lovely, the property was cute, check-in & check-out were easy as can be, & it was the perfect location. It was like a five minute walk to all my favorite places on Draper Rd/downtown. & if you’re in town for a football game or university event, it’s right next to campus, and probably a 15-20 walk to Lane Stadium. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town.

What a great find! The location is perfect in Blacksburg. The owner gave us great recommendations on places to see in the area. We stayed in the Dogwood House and loved it! Clean and cozy! Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough good things about this property. Ideal spot for visiting our daughter at Virginia Tech. The property is essentially on campus and everything is walkable. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The common spaces are beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend!
